Talent Acquisition Partner

SeedInvest is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner. You will work directly with management across the company, including the founders, in this role.

 

SeedInvest is the largest venture/startup investing platform in the U.S. with a rapidly growing network of over 500,000 users and has successfully funded north of 200 startups to date. We are in the first innings of having “a little bit of startup” in everyone’s investment portfolio and believe our growing suite of products will give rise to a better alternative to the traditional private capital formation rails that exist today. With a record 2020 (and 2021 building on that) under our belts, we are in the middle of rapid growth and change for a new generation of investors and startups everywhere.

The Role

As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be expected to be at the forefront of sourcing and hiring top-notch talent to become a part of our growing team. You will be expected to close 2-4 new hires per month across all functions and levels.

We are currently looking to hire for more than a dozen roles across 6 different teams with multiple senior and technical hires. You will:

  • Recruit for roles across the organization, including but not limited to our engineering, design, marketing, and venture staff across both junior and leadership level roles.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, candidate assessments, phone screens, interviews, hiring decisions, and offer extensions
  • Work with management to understand hiring needs and develop, execute, and improve recruitment plans
  • Continually improve the company’s careers page and job postings
  • Identify opportunities for SeedInvest to build and maintain its employer brand in the FinTech space
  • Become an expert about startup investing, startup fundraising, and venture capital

 

Our Immediate Expectations of You:

  • 5 or more years of experience with full-cycle recruiting or sourcing, with at least 2 years of experience in software engineer recruiting (>=2 hires per month)
  • 2 or more years of experience with building a team at a startup or tech company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience and track record of supporting managers and leaders across the company in their efforts to build their teams
  • Track record and passion for not only sourcing and hiring candidates, but the right candidates that add to the company culturally and professionally over the long term
  • Ability to think rigorously and make hard decisions/tradeoffs quickly and correctly
  • Comfort thriving in a fast-pace environment with a high level of autonomy 

 

Extra Credit If:

  • You have experience building remote teams
  • You previously worked in fin-tech
  • You previously worked in a highly regulated environment 
  • You previously worked at or founded a high-growth startup

Location

While we are looking to continue to build the team in Manhattan, New York, the entire SeedInvest team is currently working from home and we are open to the idea of ongoing support for remote work. Please let us know if remote work is a requirement for you!
