SeedInvest is seeking a Marketing Associate to join our team in Manhattan, New York. We are looking for someone with experience in helping to scale a high growth startup. This is a unique opportunity to not only lead growth efforts at a startup but also to do it at a leading equity crowdfunding platform that is fundamentally changing startup fundraising. We run extremely flat and are looking for someone that can not only execute, but become a core member of our team and contribute to the mission, vision, and culture here in a very positive way. This is a salaried full-time position ($65k-$80k) with equity compensation (0.05%).
We are looking for someone:
You'll be expected to be very, very good at:
Long-form content creation and user-centric content strategies
Marketing communications, no matter the audience
Social media marketing
SEO, re-purposing and syndicating of long-form and short-form content
Email marketing including newsletters, drip campaigns, etc.
Working cross functionally across teams to create user education and sales enablement materials
your work and making data-driven decisions
Planning, building, executing, and iterating on marketing strategies on models with minimal oversight
You should also be excited to learn and lend a hand in other areas of marketing outside of content, including, but not limited to: SEM, PR, website optimization, and market research.
The minimum requirements are:
Minimum of 2-3 years of marketing experience at a top startup, investment firm, financial services firm or tech company
Deep knowledge of online marketing and analytics tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience running and implementing a content marketing strategy
